In Her Shoes

Project overview:

Blown Fuse created a unique theatre experience where one audience member is guided through the set (with headphones) to hear the stories of Essex women spanning several decades. A trailer (for future performances) and a film for funders was needed.

The Solution:

The concept of the performance presented a challenge when thinking about how to capture it for a trailer, the set is made for only one person at a time and has no windows to shoot through. We decided that the best way to proceed was to stage some aspects of a performance with a fake audience member that we could direct for shots.

We then set up a Go-Pro camera to capture shots of real audience members (moving the camera in between performances) experiencing the stories. Vox-pops with audience members and the creators were captured in between performances.
