Southend Pride 2019

Project overview:
To capture the week of Southend Pride events in the run to and including the Pride march and concert

The Solution:
We sent a camera operator to each of the weeks events which included a comedy night, poetry evening and LGBT metal night called the Black Unicorn. The morning following each event we edited the footage into 30-60 second montages to promote the week long Pride. We then had a two person crew cover the pride march through the town, up the high street to its destination  – the outdoor concert. We then edited a longer montage of all events, including the march and concert into a final event highlight film.

 In the run up to this years Pride we used footage from the 2018 event to create ‘countdown’ films to run in the weeks and days leading up to the 2019 event.

Client Review:
Blatella Films went above and beyond to cover our events, including our main festival. We are completely overjoyed at the results they produced, and we owe them a great debt of thanks for their hard work, perseverance and creativity.
