Visit Southend: Welcome back

Project overview:

To create a series of short films to promote different aspects of the re-opening of Southend businesses and attractions as lockdown lifted in stages 2021.

The Solution:

Strictly following lockdown regulations in place in summer 2020 we sent a camera crew to various locations around the borough to capture a variety of activities and businesses. We also captured aerial footage of key locations to give scale to the films.

The films utilised the new Visit Southend branding to help reinforce the new look that will be key in the tourism advertising.

We split the footage into categories to match the various stages of lockdown being lifted to guide the viewer in what businesses and activities were newly available.
