We aim to bring the cinematic to your big day, your wedding film is full of attention to detail and we work with you to make sure you get the film that you will want to watch for years to come.
Our highly skilled wedding team shoot on a range of Panasonic Cinematic cameras, using a range of shooting tools, accessories and lenses, we edit on top spec. iMacs using professional editing software and we produce your film on USB stick or Blu-ray.
Since founding Blatella Films we have filmed over 40 weddings across the UK from civil ceremonies to religious celebrations of all denominations.

Do you cover same sex weddings?
Yes, we do indeed and we have.
Do you cover both faith and civil ceremonies?
We cover any type of ceremony. We will do any research necessary to make sure that any cultural and/or faith aspects of your day are covered appropriately. We do ask that the registrar and/or religious officiant knows you’re having it filmed ahead of the day itself.
Can we buy extra copies of our film after the wedding?
Yes, extra USBs and/or Blu-rays may be purchased for yourself or friends or family, simply contact us letting us know the type of copy you require and the quantity.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable booking fee is required no later than two months before the wedding.
Are you insured?
Blatella Films are members of the union BECTU (British Entertainment, Cinematograph and Theatre Union) and are insured through Hencilla Canworth.
How far will you travel?
There are no limitations on how far we will travel. If your wedding is beyond 50 miles of our starting base then we would include accommodation costs within our quote. If this is the case we will strive to find the most cost efficient accommodation and will consult you before booking anything.
What music will be used in my film?
We licence music that fits the flow and theme of your wedding. Its a common misconception that chart music can be used in a wedding film, the licences for doing so cost thousands per song and we don’t like to charge you that much. Licence fees for any music we use is included in your package cost as standard.
What will you wear?
Part of our job is make your day as special as possible, and we feel that part of that is to look the part. Therefore we will always (unless specifically stated by you) dress as if we were guests, wearing smart clothes and a groomed appearance. This helps us blend into the background making you and your guests more comfortable and allowing us to get lovely candid shots as well as respecting the importance of the occasion. We will always assume that the dress code is smart unless told otherwise and we will make sure to avoid the colours of your scheme.
Do we need to feed you?
Generally weddings mean working a 12-14 hour day with very little rest, so we ask that when you and your guests are sitting down to your wedding breakfast, we are provided with an equivalent meal. We are happy to eat in a separate part of the venue so you don’t have to juggle your seating plan anymore than you have to. This gives us the chance to give our batteries a recharge and refresh ourselves for the evening.
How long do I have to wait to see the final product?
We will aim to have the finished film ready for you within 4 – 6 weeks from your wedding, although in busy periods it may take a little longer, but we will always tell you if this is the case and keep you updated on its progress.
Do you provide raw footage?
We do not provide raw footage, we make sure that all of the good shots make their way to you in your film.
How far in advance should I book?
To avoid disappointment it is best to book us at least 6 months in advance of your wedding day. We will always try to accommodate late bookings wherever possible and we take bookings up to two years in advance.
What happens if you are sick on the day?
Rest assured, we have a network of trusted filmmakers that we can call upon should illness or injury occur.
